Someone, Somewhere, Is Still Using a Mug I Painted for Their Office

Someone, Somewhere, Is Still Using a Mug I Painted for Their Office

I’m Aishwarya, and I hand-paint gifts for people I’ll probably never meet.

Not because they needed another mug. Or another diary. But because someone, somewhere, wanted them to feel seen.

That’s usually how these conversations begin.
A founder wanting to thank their team.
An HR manager planning something for a milestone.
A company growing into its next version.

And almost always, they choose things we already recognise.

Diaries.
Mugs.
Tumblers.
Desk pieces.

Familiar objects. Objects people already use.
What changes is what they carry.

When something carries your name, it carries a different weight. I’ve seen people pause when they first hold something made for them. They notice the details first.

A colour that feels familiar.
A small element that reflects their work.
Sometimes their name, painted quietly into the design.

It stops feeling like something given to everyone.
It starts feeling like something given to them.

That shift, however small, is the reason Kalavrit exists.
Not to reinvent corporate gifting. But to make it more personal. More human.

The diary sets are often where this becomes most real. On the surface, it’s a diary set. But each one is painted individually.

Sometimes it reflects the brand through colours, motifs, or ideas that belong to the company. Sometimes it reflects the person their name, their role, or something symbolic of their journey.

Over time, these diaries begin to hold everything.

Meeting notes.
Half-formed ideas.
Plans written on busy mornings.

They become part of someone’s everyday thinking. And knowing something I painted exists quietly in that space, it never feels ordinary.

The mugs become part of moments no one else sees. Morning coffee before the first call. A slow sip between meetings. Evenings when the office is quieter. Each mug is hand-painted and fully customisable.

Sometimes with names.
Sometimes with illustrations inspired by your brand.
Sometimes with small details that simply make someone smile.

Eventually, they stop being “office mugs.” They just become theirs.

Coasters and tumblers travel through someone’s everyday routine. They sit on desks through countless conversations. They move between meetings. They go home. Because they’re hand-painted, they don’t disappear into the background completely. They remain noticed. Even if only for a second.
And sometimes, that’s enough.

The *mini canvas easels* are small, but they hold presence. A tiny hand-painted canvas resting on a wooden easel.

Sometimes it carries a message.
Sometimes artwork inspired by your brand.
Sometimes something quieter. More abstract.
Sometimes it’s more of an inspiration

It becomes part of someone’s desk. Their space. Not because it has to be there. But because they want it there.

And sometimes, companies come with ideas that don’t exist yet. That’s always my favourite place to begin.

Because everything is painted by hand, there’s room to create something entirely new.

If there’s something specific you have in mind be it a product, a concept, or even just a feeling you want the gift to carry, it can be created!

It always starts as a conversation. And becomes something that didn’t exist before.

This is why Kalavrit exists
Not to create more things.
But to create things people choose to keep.

Corporate gifting has always been about appreciation. This is simply another way of expressing it. Through objects that feel personal. Through art people can live with.

Sometimes, the conversations that reach me are very clear.
A team size.
A timeline.
A product in mind.

And sometimes, it’s just a thought.
“We don’t want to give something forgettable.”

Both are enough to begin. Everything is painted in my studio, one piece at a time.

Diary sets.
Mugs.
Tumblers.
Coasters.
Mini canvas easels.

And sometimes, things that are imagined for the first time.
